Data from the National Golf Foundation shows that 90 percent of golfers who practice - never get better.
It’s Todd here.
Now that you're learning your new Single Plane Swing, the easiest way play golf, you might be asking, how long is it going to take to get it? This is the most common question asked.
My job as a coach is to help you learn the swing as fast as possible, to get you on the course playing the best golf of your life. That's why I wish I was there, standing with you every time you tried the Single Plane Swing on the range and course.
That way I could make sure you weren't spending your time on things that don't matter and not wasting any time getting it.
But you want to know what's worse than wasting time on the range? Practicing incorrectly.
As coach, practicing incorrectly scares the hell out of me, and it should scare you too.
Can you imagine the thought of spending your precious time grooving the WRONG swing motion?
Just think, if you didn’t really feel like practicing in the first place but you do it anyway and then…you do it wrong?
If you have ever screwed up your practice, you’re not alone.
Data from the National Golf Foundation showed that out of 1000 practicing golfers studied, only 10% improved.
That means that 90% of golfers studied didn't get better.
What's scarier is that...
50% of the Golfers Studied - Got Worse.
Why?
Because they practiced incorrectly.
I read these statistics and it freaked me out. The thought of bad practice makes me shiver. What a waste of time!
That’s why, when I do practice, I definitely want to get the most out of it...
AND, for heaven’s sake, do it correctly!
Which is exactly why I designed a perfect tool to help you get the most out of practicing and not waste any time. What’s even better, It’s so simple to use. You will perfect your Single Plane Swing without even trying. (You know me, I like to keep it simple.)
You see, the problem with practice, is that it makes you think too much. Even about the simple, and incredibly important minor things like Alignment, Ball Position and Stance Width.
I call these the “little-big” things.
That’s what practice is for isn’t it – to get consistent?
Well, let me ask you. How can you get a consistent swing if can’t even get the little things right?
What’s crazy is that It’s usually these little things that make it impossible to get consistent. As a matter of fact, even good swings can hit bad shots if your alignment and ball position are off.
Yes, good swings can hit bad shots? That’s crazy right?
Luckily it doesn’t have to be this way.
Just think, what if every time you did practice, you knew that you were practicing perfectly?
What if you didn’t have to worry about Alignment anymore?
What if you knew you had the ideal ball position for every club?
What if you stopped guessing and had 100 percent confidence?
What if every time you practiced - you had the “Little-Big” things effortlessly nailed?
That’s exactly why I created the perfect training tool, to help you learn and practice the “Little-Big” things - so you can get them right every time you spend your valuable time on the range.
Introducing the...
Alignment and Ball Position Trainer (ABT)
Here's what the ABT will do for you...
Establishes the Proper Alignment
The straight leading edge of the ABT visually aligns you to the target helping you develop a consistent swing path and pattern.
Graphics Indicators Teach Foot Placement
Graphics on the ABT help you place the feet in the correct position relative to the ball. The graphics indicate the placement and the amount of rotation of each foot.
Ensures Proper Ball Position
The IBT, DBP and Zone establish the ideal ball position for every club in your bag. Consistency in ball position equals consistency in ball striking.
Keeps Your Feet the Proper Stance Width
Stance width is an important aspect of the Single Plane Swing. The ABT ensures the ideal stance width for every club. (Ideal for heights of 5'4" to 6'4")
Sets the Lead Foot Position
The lead foot position remains constant for the Single Plane swing. The ABT teaches the Perfect lead foot position relative to ball position.
Sets the Trail Foot Position
The stance widens as the club you hit gets longer. The ABT indicators mark the correct position of the trial foot for every club.
Toe Position Indicators for Easy Placement
The Trail foot sets your stance width. The tabs on the ABT indicate the proper position for each club so you no longer have to wonder where your trail foot goes.
Sets Perfect Ball Position for Your Driver
You must be a great driver of the golf ball to play well. The ABT marking of DBP places the ball in the perfect place for launching your driver.
Naturally Adjusts Feet for Swing Radius
With the proper spacing from the ABT, the feet are placed correctly to accommodate the Single Plane Swing's natural arc.
Helps You Improve Faster
WIth your Alignment, Ball Position and Stance Width in place, you can get more out of your practice and speed up your improvement.
Here’s the thing.
What is practice anyway? Isn’t practice for learning? Isn’t it for repetition to grove your swing? Isn’t it to make your shots repeatable?
And to be honest, the only time I like to practice is when I can feel my swing getting in a grove and not worry about the little things.
When you stop thinking about the little-big things, practice gets fun again. This is how you get better – faster.
But golf isn’t always about just practicing.
You’re going to take your new Single Plane swing to the course too. And let’s say you have a bad round. (It happens to all of us).
Isn’t practice also for fixing your problems quickly?
What’s scary is that I have a great swing and sometimes, after a few rounds, even I start hitting it badly. With all of the hills and slopes on the course, somehow, over time, ball position can creep too far back in your stance.
When this happens, you’ll start to notice crazy looking shots on the course.
This happens to everyone.
But bad shots are not because of bad swings. Most of the time, when I hit bad shots, it’s because my ball position is off, I don’t even know it.
What is even crazier, is that when your ball position is off, so is your alignment and timing.
Just one simple mistake with your ball position and everything, even your swing timing, can go haywire.
That’s where the ABT works perfectly. After the end of a crazy round, I simply drop the ABT on the ground and hit a few shots and in just a few swings, it fixes my alignment and ball position. Within minutes, my swing timing and tempo comes back and I designed it so you don’t even have to think about it.
You see, the problem with practice, is that it makes you think too much. Even about the simple, and incredibly important minor things like Alignment, Ball Position and Stance Width.
I call these the “Little-Big” things.

Yes, that's right, good swings can hit bad shots? That’s crazy right?
Luckily, it doesn’t have to be this way: if you nail down your address and ball position.
Just think:
- Every time you did practice, you know that you are practicing perfectly?
- You no longer have to worry about your alignment?
- You know you have the ideal ball position for every club?
- Stopped guessing and have 100 percent confidence?
- Every time you practice - you have the “Little-Big” things effortlessly nailed
That’s exactly why I created the ABT, to help you learn and practice the “Little-Big” things - so you can get them right every time you spend your valuable time practicing.

I found the ABT essential to Single Plane training to feel where I should position my body in relation to the ball position. I even use it on the course when I have an opportunity play by myself.

I absolutely love my Alignment and Ball Position Trainer, (ABT). I ALWAYS use it when I practice, both indoors and outdoors. In my opinion, the Alignment and Ball Position Trainer (ABT) is absolutely the most important Single Plane training tool I use. I NEVER train without the ABPT. Thank you for inventing this for us.

I use the alignment ball position trainer whenever I hit balls or work on my set up. It is invaluable.
Thanks much.

I use mine at home, at the driving range and I've even taken it to the course a few times for practice rounds. It is crucial to making the correct SPS ball position automatic for you. If one is serious about learning the SPS, the ABT is a must.
